On certain weekends in May and June the Mossy Creek Fly Fishing shop in Harrisonburg will be hosting, free of charge, three-hour Orvis sponsred fly fishing classes.
Each class is intended to teach enough for the totally inexperienced person to start fly casting and fly fishing. Every participant will also receive a free membership in Trout Unlimited, a free membership in Fly Fishers of America, and a $25 coupon off any purchase of $50 or more of Orvis gear.
The dates are May 21, May 28, and June 18. All classes start at 10 a.m.
Participants in Fly Fishing 101 will be eligible to participate in Fly Fishing 201 held on June 25. Fly Fishing 201 will be an “on the stream” workshop, for which there may be a nominal charge.
