Massanutten TU members helped Camp Unali kids recovering from cancer catch trout at Hemlock Springs Trout Farm Thursday, August 5. Members Gary Heschel, Dennis Patzig, and Kemper Eagle were busy throughout the afternoon providing rods, reels, and bait for the 7 campers who came. They caught 20 trout. Paul Conley and his Hemlock Springs helpers cleaned them and gave them to the two cooks to fix up for their finale cookout back at Bretton Woods. Massanutten TU footed the bill for the trout. This was our 6th annual Camp Unali Kids' Fishing Day, and it was also #6 for several of the campers.
For 2001, Camp Unali has been moved to a location in Richmond so there will be no day on the stream at this year's camp.
